The track laying process has started on Sydney Metro’s new railway bridge over Windsor Road at Rouse Hill. The deck of the landmark cable-stayed bridge, similar in design to Sydney’s Anzac Bridge, is being prepared for railway tracks with steel being installed so the concrete track slab can be laid. Then will come 540m of new railway tracks on the bridge. Sydney Metro opens in the first half of 2019 – 13 metro stations between Rouse Hill and Chatswood in Sydney’s North West. It’ll be extended into the Sydney CBD and beyond d to Bankstown in 2024.
