Sydney Metro City and Southwest Advertising rollout

04.11.2024

V

From next week, works will begin within the paid concourses at Crows Nest and Barangaroo Stations to install the first full digital and full motion enabled screens across the City Stations.

In 2023, oOh! Media was awarded an agreement with Sydney Metro to install, operate and maintain a newly designed network of screens across the City Stations. These screens will  provide the finishing touches to the M1 North West to Bankstown line.

Starting from Monday 4 November, Sydney Metro will begin to roll out the City and Southwest advertising screens, with the goal to install almost 40 customer screens across the City section of the M1 Metro Northwest & Bankstown Line. Starting at Crows Nest and Barangaroo Stations, passengers will notice some changes to the paid concourse. Areas of scaffolding will be placed around the installation areas to ensure the safety of customers whilst work is taking place.

Works will not impact the operation of the stations and access to the Metro will be maintained at all times. The team will be reducing work hours to outside of peak, requiring approximately six weeks to complete, and will be working to minimise disruption.

Operator Metro Trains Sydney will have team members available to help customers with questions or wayfinding during these works. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Transportnsw.info or call the Transport Customer Service Centre on 131 500.
