Barangaroo Station construction update

The process to build the new Barangaroo Station has progressed.
Following an expressions of interest process, Sydney Metro has shortlisted three applicants to move to the Request for Tender (RFT) stage for the new Barangaroo Station. The three applicants are:
- Hutchinson
- John Holland
- Watpac.
Sydney Metro is working in collaboration with Infrastructure NSW to deliver Barangaroo Station.
The station improves access to the Walsh Bay Arts and Culture precinct as well as providing easy access to Barangaroo’s public, residential, commercial and entertainment areas and the new ferry hub. It will provide high quality public transport access to the latest destination in Sydney.
Barangaroo Station will improve pedestrian connections to the northern part of the Sydney CBD and The Rocks, and will alleviate congestion at Wynyard Station.
